Secure by Design
We have seen it time and time again – your sensitive data like Leases, Payment History, E-mails, etc. compromised, leaked into the black web. Often times, the root cause is weak passwords, poorly maintained security best practices and insecure infrastructure.
Think twice before storing your sensitive Tenant Data anywhere. We’ve built Landlord Cart with your security in mind in everything we do. In fact, we follow security best practices to keep your data safe and secure — and always backed up.
What does this mean in simple terms? To start, our website and our portals are encrypted using 2048-bit RSA SSL keys. The 2048 bit RSA key is something called asymmetric cryptography. It is used for validating identity (signing) and ensuring that only an intended recipient can access the information sent (encryption). It is composed of two pieces, a public key and a private key. This is the same encryption used by your bank or credit card company.
Our web, content, and databases are all built on the same reliable, scalable infrastructure used to power Amazon.com’s global web properties. In addition, sites like Netflix, Facebook, ESPN, Twitter all call AWS home for their most sensitive infrastructure.
Our investments in Amazon AWS computing services are significant and a large part of our operating budget. We believe that taking care of your Tenant data is essential to enjoying the software, worry free and a necessary cost of doing business. We known some competitors who could be hosting your data on the cheapest host possible to maximize profit. It’s a recipe for disaster eventually. AWS gives us the robust and modern infrastructure that matches our innovative software.
